Aquascope Virelles is an exceptional nature reserve and also the gateway to the new National Park Entre Sambre Et Meuse (ESEM). In addition, it is one of the best birdwatching locations in Wallonia.
The request was made to create a barefoot path and thus develop a sensory experience. The entire project aims to connect the visitor with nature through physical activities outdoors. This inclusive outdoor space is suitable for children, adults, and seniors.
Ecovery made and installed a barefoot path that forms a 2 km long course. There is a part that runs through the canopy of the trees, a large structure with many different elements, a large net, lookout cages, an observation hut and various footbridges.
In addition, there is also a course that runs along the ground, where different surfaces are alternated with playful elements.
