What does Ecovery do with non-personal data?

Does Ecovery ever share personal data with third parties?

Ecovery only shares personal data that is necessary for the proper handling of your question or order with third parties that are involved in the supply, home delivery or payment. • share address data with parcel services such as DHL, Bpost and GLS so that they can deliver the correct products to the right place;
• process payments via the Mollie platform;

• use our affiliated companies to provide services related to your personal data. • If you let us know that you no longer wish to receive a newsletter from us, for example, we will immediately remove your email address from our mailing list;

• If you purchase an item with a warranty period, we will retain your data for as long as the warranty period lasts so that we can apply the warranty to damaged or non-defective materials
• Mollie payment platform will not retain your personal data for longer than the mandatory legal period or, if no such mandatory legal period applies, not longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your personal data has been obtained.

This privacy statement was last revised on November 13, 2020. We may change this privacy statement at any time and for any reason. If we decide to make substantial changes to our privacy statement, we will post a notice on the homepage of our website for a certain period of time after the change is made. We recommend that you review this privacy statement each time you visit the website.

Are there special rules about the privacy of children?

We attach value to protecting children's online privacy. We will not wilfully collect any personal data (such as a child's name or email address) from children under 16 without the consent of someone with parental responsibility. If you think we have collected personal data from someone under 16, please contact us.
