Villa Botanica is a nature educational house in the city park in Aalst. They asked us to put the house in the spotlight more. Along Parklaan we will place a large insect hotel in the shape of the Villa Botanica logo with various colorful elements from the logo. We place a feeding house for a squirrel near the house. Children can collect food from the park and place it in the feeding house. In addition, a hedgehog house is provided. Here children can collect different leaves from the park. The contours of the leaves are a cutout from the print. This way the children can discover which leaf they have found. The leaves then immediately serve as insulation material throughout the winter for the hedgehog enclosure, which is incorporated into the table.
We have placed a disc wall at the front of the house. There are various animals that can be brought to the tree. By turning, you can discover the life history and different facts of each animal. In the park itself there is a wood sculpture of a caterpillar with a direction indicator towards the house. All illustrations, printing and constructions are made by our diverse, creative team.
