Near the Bergemeersen nature reserve in Wichelen, Ecovery has installed 2 educational play equipment. As a first device, children can climb the path of a fish ladder. By means of the shape and the information boards, children can learn about the operation of a fish ladder. On the outside of the ladder, various local fish are placed.
In addition, they find a gigantic three-spined stickleback. In the tail, the scales, fins and even in the mouth, various information boards can be found. This way, children discover different properties and facts about the stickleback. The construction is made of inox, douglas and HPL.
Both devices have been inspected and installed according to the standard. The printwork, including information boards and drawings, are printed on high-pressure laminate (HPL), a strong carrier made of phenolic resin that is also provided with a protective top layer.
