Description
Suitable for bird seed mix for finches, blackbirds, robins and winter kings is scattered under the canopy. A bowl of water can be placed on the perch. The little roof protects the food on the perch from rain and snow. The open part is then more easily accessible.
Tit balls and peanut nets can be hung on the sticks. The holes in the pole can be filled with insect feed or woodpecker peanut butter for woodpeckers, treecreepers and tree sap feeders can be filled.
The Robinia pole is also interesting for insects and fungi, since it is not treated with chemicaliën and the soft sapwood is still present. This will relatively quickly
rot in the first years, but the hard heartwood will remain standing.
