The M500-384 is supplied in a sleek and durable aluminum housing and uses the same advanced electret microphone technology as the well-known D500X detector.
The M500-384 is the ideal choice if you plan to use your smartphone for ultrasonic recordings. Consider this model also if you want to be independent of a specific operating system or software. The software you choose must support recording at 384 kHz. Works with Android, Linux (Ubuntu), OS X, iOS or Windows. Check hardware/software compatibility and whether recording at 384 kHz is supported. Some smartphones/tablets, especially cheaper devices, may not support USB audio at 384 kHz.
A 0.5 m USB (type-A to mini-B) cable is included.
