The Vortex Binocular Tripod Adapter Sport weighs less than 26 grams.
The adapter consists of two parts that can easily be pushed together. This is useful when you want to quickly observe handheld, for example to track animals that move out of view. Connecting to the binoculars is easy by turning the screw into the intended opening. Using the Torx key, tighten the assembly a little better to prevent the assembly from coming apart easily again. When the other part is mounted on a tripod, it is ready for use.
When the binoculars are mounted on a tripod with the Adapter Sport, they must be held with one hand. The Adapter Sport is intended to quickly remove the binoculars from the tripod for hand-held observation when necessary.
