Description
By building the bat cellar completely ourselves, we have full control over the layout, materials used and shape of the cellar. By placing a ventilation pipe and door, the air circulation is minimal, resulting in condensation moisture that ensures a higher air humidity. By placing the bunker half in the ground and processing it into a hill, the bat cellar is well insulated. As a result, the internal temperature will not drop below zero in freezing weather. The inner door provides temperature buffering in the bat bunker.

Steel door
Sturdy steel door with locks. The bars of the door are horizontal and at a good distance, so that the bats can fly inside.
Exploration room
Bats prefer a space where they can fly around before entering the cellar.
Wooden door
This wooden door is provided with an anti-marten entrance to protect bats inside.
Ventilation pipe
There is a slight air circulation through this ventilation pipe.
Nest stones
We attach different nest stones to the ceiling of the cellar.
Bat boxes
Around the walls are wooden bat boxes with spaces behind which bats can nest.
Bricked walls
By placing bricked walls inside the cellar, different spaces and thus climates are created. In addition, there is also a different type of wall / texture available for bats.
