The electronics are powered by 2 AA batteries, which are widely available, and provide an autonomy of 36 hours. So that not a second of these 36 hours is lost, this instrument was equipped with motion sensors that put the device in a sleep mode when you are not observing. The APC (angle power control) function detects the position of the binoculars. If the device is vertical, such as when it hangs around your neck or rests on a table, it goes into sleep mode. As soon as the device returns to a more horizontal position, when you start observing, the electronics immediately come into operation again. No hassle with the on-off button, no accidental empty battery. A timer ensures that the device switches off completely after 90 minutes, regardless of whether the device was in active mode or in sleep mode. There is also an indicator that tells you when the battery is low.
The APC STABILIZED binoculars are ergonomically shaped and offer a 4 cm long focusing wheel that can be operated very easily with 3 fingers. Although the APC STABILIZED does not look ordinary, it is just as easy to use as any other pair of binoculars.
