Description
The design is made of a lightweight metal and is very strong despite its weight of less than 80 grams.
The supplied binocular blocker ensures that the binoculars are adjusted to the correct distance.
To have the best viewing experience, it is important to secure the binoculars correctly.
The correct interpupillary distance is easy to determine with the following steps:
- Bend the binoculars until they are at their narrowest.
- Move both parts apart until you can comfortably view through the binoculars.
- After this, choose an object about 100 meters away and slowly move both parts in or out until one round image is created.
- When an image is now visible without black edges, turn the Vortex Binocular Blockade in the appropriate place and check whether you can still look through the binoculars as desired. In this way you have adjusted the binoculars to the pupillary distance of your eyes . Keep in mind that the interpupillary distance can be different for everyone. This means that someone else may see black edges. In this case, the above steps must be repeated.
When the Binocular Blockade is correctly adjusted, the Vortex Binocular Tripod Adapter Pro can easily be slid over it and then tightened from above. After this, the binoculars can be mounted on a tripod and you are assured of a silent image.
