Description

This common swift cabinet is specially designed for the mitigation of common swift habitats. The cabinets can be placed both clustered and solitary. This common swift box is also popular with house sparrow as a place to stay.

PLACEMENT
The design specifically took into account the depth of the box. Due to its shallow depth, it can also be easily incorporated into facades of homes from the 1950s and 1960s, which often have limited cavity space. The common swift box is equipped with an inspection hatch. It can be cleaned via the inspection hatch. In addition to placement in masonry, the brick can also be hung on facades. When placed on facades, the box can be placed through the back of the box using two bolts.

Step-by-step plan for installation in existing masonry:
1. make a mark on the outside wall the size of the built-in box + the width of a joint
2. remove the marked part from the wall and place the box.
3. Adjust the box using filler cards. Then secure it using PUR foam.

Placement options:
1. placement in existing masonry: For deep boxes, allow it to protrude slightly from the wall. Minimum 20mm PIR behind the box. Do not place the brick against the inner leaf.
2. flush with masonry: Keep the box free of insulation.
3. completely behind masonry: Keep the box free of insulation. Mounting with corner anchors. Leave the stone a little wider than the entrance . The built-in box can be finished with stone strips or stucco.
