Description
The box is specially designed for building-dwelling bat species. Built-in bat boxes have the best chance of success as a roost for common pipistrelle bats and rough pipistrelle bats. In addition, the boxes can also be used by late flyers, common long-eared bats and lake bats.
The built-in cupboard can be mounted in different configurations and in different ways. The design of the cabinet has been adapted to a installation in masonry. However, the box can also be incorporated into a facade of wall panels and other types of facade cladding. The cabinet can be placed in masonry in three ways, namely: installation behind masonry with entrance stone, installation in masonry, finishing with brick strips and installation flush with masonry.
The supplied cabinets can be easily connected to each other on the construction site. All elements have breakout walls on both sides and the top. The break-out wall must be removed on the side where two cabinets are to be connected. Removing a knockout wall is best done with a hammer and chisel. When the two break-out walls have been removed, the two cabinets can be placed against each other, with the obtained openings abutting each other.
