Description

The common swift cabinet is specially designed for the mitigation of common swift habitats. The cabinets can be placed both clustered and solitary. This common swift box is also popular with house sparrows as a place to stay.

PLACEMENT
During the design, specific attention was paid to the depth of the cabinet. Due to its shallow depth, the cabinet can also be easily incorporated into facades of homes from the 1950s and 1960s, which often have limited cavity space.

Step-by-step plan for installation in existing masonry:
1. Make a mark on the outside wall the size of the installation block + the width of 1 joint.
2. Remove the marked part from the wall and place the cabinet.
3. Set up the cabinet using filler cards. Then secure the cupboard using PUR foam and then seal the cupboard.

Placement options:
1. Placement in existing masonry: with deep cupboards, allow the cupboard to protrude slightly from the wall if necessary. Minimum 20mm PIR behind the cabinet. Do not place the cabinet against the inner leaf.
2. Flush with masonry: keep box free of insulation.
3. Completely behind masonry: keep the cabinet free of insulation. Mounting with corner anchors. Leave the stone a little wider than the entrance hole . The cabinet can be finished with stone strips or stucco.
