IB VL 08 Bat Built-in Box for Facade | New Construction & Renovation
The IB VL 08 bat built-in box is a sustainable built-in bat box for facade integration for new construction and renovation projects. The box is placed invisibly in the facade and provides a safe roost for bats.
The front side with entrance slot fits into a 1-layer wave format, while the box section behind the outer leaf of the facade is installed. This creates a stable microclimate, whereby bats are better protected against extreme temperatures.
The box is made from FSC®-wood concrete with a water‑proof glued multiplex back wall. The interior is finished with spray cork, providing extra grip for bats. The IB VL 08 complies with the guidelines of the Bij12 knowledge document for the common dwarf bat.
