The Bat Box 3FN has been specially developed to provide a safe and comfortable habitat for smaller bat species. Thanks to the double entrances, at the bottom and front, bats can approach and leave the box in a natural way. The built-in intermediate floor provides extra protection against drafts, light, and predators, creating a stable and safe living climate.
This box is made of durable woodconcrete, a material that lasts for years and is resistant to all weather conditions. With a diameter of sixteen centimeters, a height of thirty-six centimeters, and a weight of approximately five kilograms, it is a sturdy and robust design. The front panel can be easily removed, allowing for inspection and cleaning to be carried out without problems.
Due to the smaller entrances, the box is particularly suitable for bat species that need shelter and protection in a quiet environment. This way, you actively contribute to biodiversity and the preservation of these valuable animals in gardens, parks, or wooded areas.
Placement tips
Place the bat box preferably at a height of three to six meters in a tree or on a facade. Direct the opening to the south, southeast, or southwest so that the box absorbs sufficient warmth. Avoid places with direct artificial light or much disturbance, so that bats can use their habitat undisturbed.
