Description
This nest box for the black redstart is suitable for hanging in cities, towns or even industrial areas where you can simply attach it to a wall. If you choose to hang the nest box in the garden, it can also be inhabited by the spotted flycatcher, robin, white wagtail or wren.
The black redstart is not very shy around humans. It often nests in buildings, old barns and sheds. Due to the renovation of houses and the demolition of old buildings with many niches and crevices, this bird is having a tough time.
The large oval entrance hole makes it possible to clean this box without a hinged roof.
INSTALLATION

MAINTENANCE
It is possible to clean the nest box once a year after the breeding season, but this is not necessary for black redstarts.
