Description
If oystercatchers are already breeding in the area, this nesting box can increase the number of breeding pairs.
INSTALLATION
The nesting box for the oystercatcher or black-headed gull is placed on the shore or in the water. Since oystercatchers are strongly territorial birds are, it is recommended to leave a minimum of 300 meters between 2 different nesting boxes.
Fill the bottom of the nesting box with about 5 cm of pearl gravel.
MAINTENANCE
Replace the pearl gravel after the breeding season.
