Description
The box is specially designed for bat species that inhabit buildings. Built-in bat boxes are most likely to succeed as a dwelling place for common pipistrelle and soprano pipistrelle bats. In addition, the boxes can also be used by noctules, brown long-eared bats and Daubenton's bats.
The built-in cabinet can be assembled in various configurations and in different ways. The design of the cabinet is adapted for placement in masonry. The cabinet can also be incorporated into a facade of wall panels and other types of facade cladding. The cabinet can be placed in masonry in three ways, namely: placement behind masonry with entrance stone, placement in masonry, finishing with stone strips, and placement flush with masonry.
The supplied boxes can be easily coupled to each other on the construction site. All elements have expansion walls on both sides and the top. On the side where two boxes are to be coupled, the expansion wall must be removed. Removing an expansion wall is best done with a hammer and chisel. Once both expansion walls have been removed, the two boxes can be placed against each other, with the resulting openings against each other.
