Description
Nesting boxes for common swifts are being used more frequently. Due to renovations and extensive insulation, nesting opportunities that were still abundant a few years ago are disappearing. Roof tiles, roof edges, and cavity walls are becoming less accessible for nesting, and this is reflected in the number of common swifts. Installing an common swift box also yields results.
This common swift nesting box is finished with a layer of spray cork in RAL 7030, but can be adjusted to your liking. The inside of the back wall of the nesting box is also provided with a layer of spray cork. This provides grip when young common swift start stretching their wings.
We supply the nesting box with a hanging set. This allows the nesting box to be placed at a good height for the common swift.
INSTALLATION
It is hung to the north or east side at a minimum height of 4 meters.
