Description

Insect hotels come in many shapes and sizes. Placing an insect hotel has a very positive influence on the ecosystem in the area. It boosts insect life in your garden, attracting more birds and ensuring that many crops, including fruit and vegetables, are well pollinated. Wild flora is also well pollinated in this way.

PLACEMENT
An insect hotel is best placed in such a way that the entrance hole faces southeast or south, in full sun. Southwest orientation should be avoided to avoid rain impact. Furthermore, a wind-free location is preferred, so if possible place it sheltered from strong winds.

It is essential that the cabinet is placed near flowering plants, preferably native ones. We are talking about gestation plants here, i.e. plants that can offer nectar and pollen as food. Finally, there is also quite a bit of water nearby.
