Description
Eggs and young birds are often threatened by predators that could enter the nest box through the opening. This protective cage provides protection against predators such as squirrels, martens and cats. In addition, Woodpeckers sometimes take possession of another nest box by cutting out the flight opening. This basket also prevents the entrance hole from being cut out.
